Your surgery may be your first surgical experience. Helping others get back to life after surgery, isn't new to us.
How do you choose your recovery team?
Your rehabilitation team should consist of individuals who know the healing process and time frames of healing. Your team should help you overcome your fear of damaging what's been fixed. You do need to have team members knowledgeable about how and when to progress your activities. Recovering from surgery is work and your team members should ensure you are working both in the clinic and at home. We'd like to think your goals include getting back to where you were before surgery, functioning even better than before surgery if possible and doing all that's possible to reduce your risk of future injury.
We'd love to be on your team because surgery doesn't scare us. We've been a part of the rehabilitation team for many in this community.
